Anita Harrow was not the kind of person that heard voices. But this one wasn’t the
typical “in your head” voice; it was a presence, something real, hiding somewhere in the
dark corners of her room. Night after night, sounding faint and far away, the Voice would
speak to her. Every time, the ceiling fan would switch on by itself, sending a cold wave of
air through her room, and every time the Voice would ask the same thing;
“Are you chilly?”
Over and over.
“Are you chilly?”

I stare across the room, transfixed by the ugliest cuckoo clock in the world. Dangling on my wall, with cracked, bright red paint and chipping wood, it is an eyesore. It's almost funny, having this thing on my living room wall, in sight of the rest of my open layout first floor. It would be, except that it hadn't been there before I went out.
I had left for groceries just two hours before, and upon returning, there it was. All the doors were still locked, and no windows had been broken, either here or upstairs. Besides the clock, everything was as I had left it.

The Princess and the Plumber (A Fairy Tale)
Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful princess. She lived in a land where the sun shone brightly all the time, the green hills rolled into the distance, and fluffy white clouds streaked across a blue, blue sky. She had everything that a princess could possibly ask for: a large castle, a stable full of horses, and all the jewels she could buy. Yes, the princess' life was truly blessed, except for one thing...she was very lonely.
It was an awfully big castle, to be living there all alone. Her horses weren't very skilled in the art of conversation. Her jewels just didn't seem to love her back. She would often find herself wanderin
There's nothing quite like the thrill you get from watching those whodunit movies. Me, I can't get enough of them! Lately, it's been Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, and Miss Marple. I have a weakness for the classics, what can I say? For as much as I love them, however, I have noticed a number of, well, patterns, in regards to how story lines tend to play out. They have popped up so much it almost seems like a requirement to have them in there somewhere! What are they, you ask? Well I'll tell you. Ladies and Gentlemen, these are the ten things to expect from classic mystery movies!
Number One: There will be the one guy with the motive,

So, I created an account on SheezyArt (http://littlebirdie.sheezyart.com/). That profile will have pretty much the same artwork/writing I have here, I just wanted to try something a little different. I will still be keeping this site up to date and such, but if you're curious about what's going on at Sheezy, you can click on the link. Also, I kind of wanted to give people a heads up that it's my account on Sheezy, not someone stealing my work. :)
You're very welcome! Haha I know exactly what you mean, I'm always worried about that with pretty much everything I write. But, stories just take as long as they have to And yours is very well written, I really enjoyed reading it, and I don't think it's too long at all good work!
AWW llama! You're very welcome! I swear, that story nearly made me cry (never thought I would feel sorry for an object, but there ya go). It was all very well done And thank for the llama badge!
